Question by Jason Hill: What is the best physics graduate schools if I'm interested in going into alternate energy?

I think that I want to go into alternate energy (solar, nuclear, wind) maybe at the research level. I will already have my bachelors of physics. What are the best schools that I could pursue a masters and a doctorate at?

Personal opinion .. MIT. That said though;

Talk with the faculty and advisers in your physics department. They will be your keys to getting into the best school you can get into anyways. Between them they also might have contacts that would help you along the way at the new school.

A good guide you might find helpful ... "So you want to be a physicist?"
