Ancient inventions are everwhere! Have you ever used a hammer? Prehistoric man used hard rocks to break up softer rocks, be it to make other tools or just to expirement with different rocks. The Romans built huge temples using a primative pully system (like our crane) and the ramp! They built arches, still the strongest man made form! It is amazing how much ancient stuff has formed itself to our society! You can't look around without seeing something prehistoric, in a new form, but sitll prehistoric!
