Question by Saranna: Is there anything interesting to visit on a rainy day in Ottawa beside museums?

I'm visiting Ottawa next week for the beginning of tulips festival.They are a lot of museums that I'm planning to visit but I would like other suggestions for a rainy day, We don't mind getting a little out of the cities (30 min. radius). Thank you.

The National Art Gallery is awesome! Make sure to take a tour of the Parliament as well. When I was there, we mostly did the museums/art galleries/Canadian heritage stuff. We also got in some great shopping! Here is a link to the tourism website. If you are there for the tulips festival, there should be a lot of other events going on as well.
