Question by Budmash: Should one participate in office politics? What is the right professional behavior?

I want to know what should i do when colleagues in office play politics against me? Should i compete, or should i let go?

Just let it go, unless it influence your work, and then go through policies and procedures to make a complaint. Alternatively, call for a team meeting and discuss it openly. Do not try to tell people your side one by one, they'll just use it against you.
